SUSHI BY BOU
As a Sr Graphic Designer + Creative Director at Sushi by Bou, my role extends well beyond traditional design. I help shape the creative direction across the brand’s growing portfolio of venues, developing visual identities, logos, menus, campaigns, social content, and guest-facing creative for a nationally recognized hospitality brand.
I also write copy, create animated carousels and video content, retouch food photography, and manage creative projects through Trello from concept through execution. Much of my work involves translating the personality of each individual venue into a distinct visual world while keeping it connected to the larger Sushi by Bou brand.
One of my favorite projects was creating a Times Square billboard for the brand, which you can view below. Sushi by Bou has also been recognized on OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants list and the Inc. 5000.
Visual Identity of Venues
Safe to say Sushi by Bou (SBB) has quite a lot of venues nationwide. I was responsible for creating and maintaining the look of every venue, making sure that they stay wholeheartedly “Bou” but also work as standalone spaces. I created the visual identity specifically for Ritz Cleveland, Westin Tempe, and FIDI:
